Amniotic Allograft

Amniotic Allograft is tissue that has demonstrated significant potential for healing and repair of wounds. RIC has used the Amniotic Allograft with excellent effect, with anecdotal evidence of healing torn rotator cuffs of the shoulder, improving pain of osteoarthritic joints such as knees, and improving back pain.

Amniotic Allograft contains growth factors and cytokines. These components have been reported to have anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic properties to stimulate the healing process. It contains hyaluronic acid which is a natural cushioning agent.

Amniotic Allograft comes from the placenta of a healthy, screened consenting mother during following a Cesarean section. Use of this tissue is ethical. No fetal sacrifice occurs to obtain the tissue and it does not contain embryonic stem cells.
